In an effort to provide the residents of the Pike County area with information about job and training services and resources that are available through the OMJ Career Center Pike County, the Workforce & Business Development Program at the Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC) will be visiting various locations throughout the area each month in the OMJ Van. During these events, representatives will provide information about available jobs in the area, educational training opportunities, and supportive services for local job seekers through the grants that fund these programs.
The next “OMJ Van On-the-Road” Events will be:
- Wednesday, September 17th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Pike Outreach Council of Churches (located at 306 Bridge Street in Waverly)
- Monday, September 29th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Garnet A. Wilson Public Library (located at 207 N Market Street in Waverly)
