Faith-based leaders from around the area are collaborating for a Community Church Service in Chillicothe this weekend. Reverend Sam Mincey, with Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church, said it starts at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, in the Kiwanis Shelter within Yoctangee Park.
"To welcome God, sometimes you have to step outside the walls, step outside the box, and let God do his work," said Mincey. "And what better place than a beautiful park in Yoctangee, here in Chillicothe?"
Mincey said all -- believers and non-believers -- are welcome to attend. Worship music will be performed by Marty Ford and the Renaissance Singers.
