The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash which occurred on Prussia Road, in Pee Pee Township of Pike County.
At approximately 6:56pm Thursday, a car driven by 38-year-old Miranda Dunn of Chillicothe, was traveling southbound on Prussia Road, near Pennington Road. Dunn’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, then drove off the left side of the roadway. Ms. Dunn’s vehicle then struck a tree and overturned. Dunn was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Pike County Sheriff’s Department, Pike County Coroner, Pike County EMS, and Pee Pee Township Fire assisted on scene.
Speed was a contributing factor in the crash which remains under investigation.
