Romaine Lettuce E.coli Found in Ohio

(24/7 News)  --  Ohio restaurants are hanging signs warning customers they are not serving romaine lettuce because of an E.coli outbreak which has hit Ohio.

According to a release from the Centers for Disease Control, 32-people in eleven-states are confirmed to have received an infection of E.coli connected to consuming tainted romaine lettuce.  E.coli can cause food poisoning symptoms including cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, and in severe cases, kidney failure.

Residents of Ohio and neighboring Michigan are among the states where the CDC says people should dispose of any romaine lettuce immediately, even if no one has gotten sick.
