Pickaway County Features "Friday In The Park"

Each Friday morning between June 21st and August 2nd will feature fun activities for Pickaway County kids at Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park, on Pontius Road at the corner of State Route 188 and Pontius Road.

"Friday In The Park" will be held between 10am-11:30am and is geared toward children pre-school to fifth grade. The free events have crafts, games, exercise and education.

Children should be accompanied by an adult or guardian and kids should be in play clothes.

.

Circleville Dairy Queen will provide treats and the nearby Pickaway YMCA will offer free lunch between 11:30am-12:30pm for these kids and others under the age of 18.

Here is the schedule and themes:

June 21st: Circleville Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol and ODNR Parks & Watercraft

June 28th: Pickaway County Sheriff & Circleville Fire Department

July 5th: Pickaway County Library features "Moon Madness"

July 12th: YMCA/Circleville Nutrition talks about Gardening and Bugs.

July 19th: Soil Water Conservation, Pickaway Park District, OSU Extension, Solid Waste Management District

July 26th: Early Headstart features "Art Explosion"

August 2nd: Circleville Police discuss "Back to school safety"
