With less than one month until the November General Election the Ross County NAACP will conduct its annual Meet the Candidates Night on Tuesday, October 22nd. It'll begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Carver Community Center, located at 165 West 4th Street in Chillicothe.
Ross County Voters are encouraged to come out and meet the candidates seeking office this November, and ask questions.
Opposed races in Chillicothe include President of Chillicothe City Council with incumbent democrat Bruce Arnold running against republican Joe Herlihy.
Ceil Corcoran (D), Joel Fleurima (D), Dustin Proehl (D), Joseph Sharp and Devon Shoemaker (R) are seeking the Council at Large seats.
For First Ward Council Beth Neal (D) faces Greg Phillips (R). For Second Ward Council it’s Brandon Lawson (D) up against Kathy Payne (R). The race for Third Ward Council has Lana Fairchild (R) running against Deidra Nickerson (D).
