Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce Announces Annual Meeting Speaker

.

Renowned community development and health care expert Quint Studer will deliver the keynote address at the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce annual meeting Tuesday, March 10.

.

Studer, who guided the revitalization of Pensacola, Fla. and helped that city win the 2019 Strongest Towns award, will speak at the dinner, which will also serve as the vehicle for handing out the Chamber’s top awards.

.

After decades in health care administration and traveling to cities across the country, Studer started the Studer Community Initiative, which focuses on his desire to create vibrantly thriving communities across the United States. That passion also resulted in his 2018 book, “Building a Vibrant Community: How Citizen-Powered Change is Reshaping America.”

.

He’s been at the helm of health care systems across the country, but also is a businessman, entrepreneur, community leader, and a mentor to many.

.

“In other words, he’s the perfect person to help us usher in this next phase of the Chillicothe renaissance,” said Mike Throne, president and CEO of the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce. “He’s traveled all over the country and seen the great disparity in the vitality of the communities he’s visited. I’m excited to bring Quint to Chillicothe.”

.

Studer’s latest book, “The Busy Leader’s Handbook,” was published in 2019 and is a look at the fundamentals that help leaders impact employees, customers, and the community in a positive impact.

.

The annual meeting will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. at Ohio University’s Shoemaker Center. More information, including ticket prices, is available at chillicotheohio.com/events.
