In Ross County Grand Jury, Car Turns Up in Michigan

The Ross County Grand Jury returned all 18 of their cases Friday, with only three open.

In one, according to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, 30-year-old Lagenne I. Knight was hanging out watching football with a man October 15th. When he awoke the next morning, he noticed she and his car were missing.

When he spoke with her, she said she used the car to go to her son's football game. He waited about 48 hours before finally reporting it missing. When the Chillicothe Police Department entered it into the system...the Detroit Police Department said to come and get it.

For an indictment on 5th degree felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, Knight could get up to one year and $2,500 in fines.

She was also indicted for failure to appear for a drug possession pretrial, for which she could get up to 18 months and $5,000 in fines.
