Ross Murder Suspect Pleads Guilty

A guilty plea has been accepted in a triple murder case in Ross County.

James A Rinehart Jr. entered guilty pleas to three counts of aggravated murder and one count of attempted murder in Ross County Common Pleas Court.

Rinehart was charged in the murders of 46-year-old Leann M. Potts and 63-year-old Thomas S. Littler, who were found shot to death in their Bowman Lane home. 50-year-old Rick Adams was found dead at a Vigo Road home.

Rinehart also attempted to kill a second woman who was found attacked at the Adams' home.
