Britney Spears & Backstreet Boys Strike Fire On Sexy New Song 'Matches'

Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys just dropped a fire collab!

Last night (December 10), Spears unveiled the long-awaited collaboration with her and the bestselling boy band, titled “Matches.”

On the sensual, upbeat bop, Spears and BSB are tempted to turn up the heat in the bedroom. “And if it's up to me, I/ I need you in-between my/ Midnight Egyptian sheets/ You know, I can see your brain, think you feel the same,” the songbird sings, as BSB croons, "Oh, if they dusted me for prints/ They'd find you all over me/ All you all over me/ Nothing ever quite felt like this/ Our fire is killing me/ The good kind of killing me.”

“Matches” appears on Spears’ newly-reissued deluxe edition of her 2016 album, Glory, which also features previously-released tracks “Swimming in the Stars” and “Mood Ring (By Demand).”

Celebrating the song’s release on Instagram, Spears wrote: “‘Matches’ 🔥 featuring my friends @BackstreetBoys is out now !!!! I’m so excited to hear what you think about our song together 🙊 !!!! You can also listen to Glory Deluxe everywhere now ... including ‘Swimming in the Stars’ and the ‘Mood Ring’ remixes !!!! The love you guys have shown this album this year has been stupid amazing 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 …. like I can’t even believe it !!! I hope it brings you joy. GOD BLESS YOU ALL 💋💋💋 !!!!!”

BSB returned the love, tweeting, "What a GLORIOUS day it is... we’ve been asked about the possibility of a collab like this for the past 20 years and today is the day!! #BritneyXBackstreet is finally here!"

Glory’s deluxe reissue comes months after the pop star unveiled September’s compilation album, Oops!...I Did It Again (Remixes and B-Sides), through Legacy Recordings. The project several remixes of tracks like “Oops!… I Did It Again,” “Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know,” “Stronger” and “Lucky.”
