Shia LaBeouf & Margaret Qualley Call It Quits Amid FKA Twigs Lawsuit

Things seem to be continuing to spiral downward for Shia LaBeouf.

As per PEOPLE, LaBeouf, 34, and girlfriend Margaret Qualley, 26, are reportedly over as the former faces allegations of abuse from his ex-girlfriend FKA twigs. "They broke up on Saturday. They’re just in different places in their lives," a source told the celebrity gossip outlet. Meanwhile, another source told the outlet that the actress is aware of the backlash she received after seeing LaBeouf in California post-twigs' claims, but she is "ready to get back to work." The two met on the set of the NSFW music video for "Love Me Like You Hate Me" from Qualley's sister, Rainey Qualley.

Aside from his severing romance, Netflix has attempted to scrub the actor from promotion for his new film, Pieces of a Woman, which is currently available on the streaming platform. In one ad on Twitter, which was shared by the Netflix Film account, a promotional message read: "Vanessa Kirby and Ellen Burstyn star in Pieces of a Woman, a story about a mother’s love and loss. On Netflix January 7."

In December, Variety also reported that the actor was seeking inpatient treatment and allegedly axed from Olivia Wilde's upcoming film, Don’t Worry Darling, due to his behavior. Previous reports suggested he exited the film because of scheduling conflicts. "Shia needs help and he knows that," LaBeouf's attorney Shawn Holley told the industry news outlet. "We are actively seeking the kind of meaningful, intensive, long-term inpatient treatment that he desperately needs."
