On this extra-funny episode of This Is Paris, Paris Hilton and her co-host Hunter sit down with comedian Chelsea Handler. Paris and Chelsea both love Spain, so they talk about how much they hate it when Americans pronounce Ibiza “Ibitha” (“Who are you trying to impress?” Chelsea asks), how they love siestas (“When a whole town is asleep that’s when I get my best work done,” Chelsea says), and the time Chelsea wanted weed in Spain so she got the hotel concierge to hook her up with a drug dealer (who brought an entire suitcase of every drug imaginable). Paris also asks about her ayahuasca experience, and Hunter and Chelsea try to convince her to do mushrooms sometime. Plus, stand-up, dating, the importance of family in general and sisters in particular, and why men talking about their balls isn’t a good opener for a date.

Hunter says Oprah just revealed the most inappropriate question she’s asked in an interview and wonders if Chelsea regrets anything she ever said on her old talk show Chelsea Lately. “Of course I’d be horrified by some of the things I said,” she answers. “But that’s okay, that’s what an evolution is.” She says that comedians in particular “have a different job now….the great thing about everything that’s happened most recently is it makes everybody have to be a little bit more clever about the story they’re telling or the joke they’re telling.” She appreciates the challenge in that, but says it’s also “the decent thing to do,” and doesn’t understand why some other comedians are resisting it. “I’m writing my next stand-up show right now and you’re considering….like, ‘How do you be funny without making fun of people?’ and it turns out it’s f**king easy, start with yourself. That’s where comedy comes from, self-deprecation, and I’ve never had a problem with that!”

They talk about dating in L.A. (Paris’s position is pretty clear: “All the guys in this town are f**king losers”), and Chelsea doesn’t disagree. She tells her about a couple recent dating experiences where the guys were maybe trying to be funny with her, but instead just ruined the date by talking about a ball accident or how men and women should never live in the same house. Then Paris asks about her first kiss: “I thought, ‘This is the most disgusting feeling I’ve ever had,’” Chelsea remembers. “I felt a tongue in my mouth and I was like, ‘I’m a lesbian. I know this for sure.’” The next day she told her family that she was a lesbian, and they had to inform her that even if she was a lesbian, she would still get tongues in her mouth from kissing girls. “Cut to: I don’t mind tongues in my mouth when it’s from the right person,” she laughs. Hear this hilarous interview with Chelsea Handler, including details about Paris’s foam parties in Spain, if she and Carter Rume ever do any roleplay, Chelsea skiing naked in Whistler, and so much more on this episode of This Is Paris.
