Chillicothe's Feast of the Flowering Moon Celebrates 40 Years

Chillicothe’s Feast of the Flowering Moon turns 40 years old this year with its annual run set to take place over Memorial Day weekend from Friday, May 26th through Sunday, May 28th in Yoctangee Park and along parts of North Paint and Water streets.

Festival Hours:

Friday, May 26: 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 27: 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Sunday, May 28: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The annual “Feast” is centered around the region's Native American culture and history and offers attractions such as crafters and exhibitors, live musical entertainment, and more.

A Memorial Day Service is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 27th at Veterans Memorial Park, with the annual Memorial Day Parade scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

The festival will require the usual closure of associated downtown streets along with the entrances to Yoctangee Park. Portions of North Paint, Water Street, and Tritscheller Road through Yoctangee Park, will be closed beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25th. The closures will then last through 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 29th.
