Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt appears to have hard launched her relationship with Derek Green, the son of retired former Chiefs quarterback Trent Green, on her Instagram account this week.
"My heart is full. 🫶🏼 Grateful for some much-needed time to rest, reflect, and reset after a whirlwind few months post-football season. So thankful for time with the people who keep me grounded, remind me I’m loved, and never fail to make me laugh. Swipe for a few favorite snapshots from life lately. ☺️," Hunt wrote in the caption of a carousel of photos, which included six with Green.
Last month, Hunt, 26, formerly Miss Kansas USA, shared a photo of herself embracing an unidentified man at Arrowhead Stadium, where she claimed they met "7.5 years ago."
“After meeting 7.5 years ago in this place … all along there was some invisible string,” Hunt captioned in the post, referencing lyrics to the song 'invisible string' by Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, which was screengrabbed by the Daily Mail.
Green's father, Trent, spent six of his 11 NFL seasons with the Chiefs, which included a 48-40 record as a starter from 2001 to 2006. Hunt had recently dated real estate broker Cody Keith, a former East Carolina University quarterback who attended NFL training camps and drew interest from the Canadian Football League, before rumors of a breakup earlier this year after she was absent from his March Instagram roundup post.
The heiress' apparent new relationship announcement came months after the Chiefs' blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, which stopped their chance of becoming the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
"Praise Him when you win. Praise Him when you lose," Hunt wrote in an Instagram post after Super Bowl LIX. "It wasn’t the result we were hoping for, but so proud of this team’s heart and the incredible season we had. Thank you to our sweet friends and family who came to support this weekend and stayed through the post game reception. Thank you to every person in the Chiefs organization for going above and beyond in all you do—we love you like family. Thank you to the incredible fans who bleed red with us. You all are the heartbeat of Chiefs Kingdom and are truly the best fans in the NFL. We’ll be back Chiefs Kingdom."
