Kelly Clarkson hilariously relished in the idea that she was embarrassing her kids while navigating a potential wardrobe malfunction during a recent show.
During one of her Studio Sessions for her new Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the "Stronger" singer quipped that she was working up so much of a sweat that she was likely to lose the nipple covers she was wearing under her T-shirt, per People.
"I'm like a Slip-n-Slide underneath," she told the crowd. "This might start sticking to me, and I'm not gonna lie, I have these like pasty things on underneath here. Because there's [an outfit] change coming and I can't have a line."
After joking that losing the support would cause her chest to drop to her waist, she abruptly stopped her introduction to the next song to let fans know that a slip was about to happen.
"Oh my god, it's going to happen and then I'm going to [shimmy] for you and just really turn you on," she teased, before adding, "Is anyone single? Looking? I'm just kidding."
Clarkson then noted that the blunt transparency was sure to embarrass her two children, 11-year-old daughter River and 9-year-old son Remington "Remy," whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
"Y'all, I do have to say that I love that I'm probably embarrassing my kids," she said. "They're like, 'Stop talking.' I hope y'all have fun. I am completely going to embarrass you with the things that I say — you're welcome, it builds character."
Clarkson was forced to cancel the first night of her residency at the last minute earlier this month, telling fans that she was "devastated" to postpone after rehearsals had "taken a toll" on her voice.
