Ross County Republicans and Democrats Hosting Events Tonight and Saturday

Sample Fall 2025 ballots for both parties

Both Ross County political parties have events this week…and of course others coming up, as the November election nears. I had asked about schedules at both parties’ booths at the recent Ross County Fair.

The candidates scheduled to be at Manor Park tonight.

From 6:00 to 7:30 tonight, the Republicans are hosting a “Meet and Chat with this fall’s Republican Candidates for Chillicothe City Government.”

Five candidates are scheduled to appear in the Chillicothe Manor Park shelterhouse, across from Triple Crown Family Fun Center, at the end of North Plaza Boulevard – and the end of Winona Boulevard – off North Bridge Street.

The Republicans told me they also hope to have their annual Friday fish fry at the Lion’s Shelter in Yoctangee Park at the start of September, but they are waiting to see if park reconstruction might force a relocation.

The Ross County Democratic Party is having a grand opening of their new headquarters this Saturday.

Coffee and donuts will be provided at 68 North Walnut Street from 10am to 1pm on August 23rd.

And, both parties have two divisions.

I was told the Ross County Democratic Club is the more active part of the party. Both have Facebook pages.

The “Republican Women of Ross County” are active members of the Ross County Republican Party, and they also both have Facebook pages.
