Xenia Gets Nod for Southeastern-Covington Football Game

The (11-0) Southeastern Panthers will head west to Xenia, Ohio for their Division 6/Region 24 Semifinal game vs the (9-2) Covington Buccaneers, Friday at 7pm.

Doug Adams Stadium is located at 506 Dayton Avenue in Xenia, which has an artificial surface. It is the regular season home of the Xenia High School Buccaneers. The stadium has a seating capacity of 4,782 spectators, surrounded by an artificial track and a video scoreboard on the north end.

The Panthers will be considered the home team, due to their higher regional ranking, which is #1 compared to Covington's #4 regional ranking. 94 Country WKKJ will broadcast the game with airtime at 6:40pm, and also heard worldwide on our free iHeart Radio app.

The unbeaten Jackson Ironmen will face Jonathan Alder at Teays Valley High School in the Division 3/Region 11 Semifinal, Friday at 7pm.

Miami Trace was selected to host a second round Division 2/Region 8 game on Friday at 7pm, featuring Columbus DeSales vs Cincinnati Harrison High Schools

The site for the Waverly vs Bloom Carroll D-4/Region 11 game at 7pm Saturday will be at Chillicothe Herrnstein Field.

Jackson High School will host the Amanda Clearcreek vs Ironton in the Division 5/Region 19 game at 7pm, Saturday. The other semifinal between Wheelersburg vs West Lafayette Ridgewood will be Lancaster High School.
