Flavor Flav Reveals He's A Big Fan Of Taylor Swift

Flavor Flav isn’t hiding the fact that he is a Taylor Swift fan.

Flav just admitted he's a Taylor Swift fan, and he's got the merch to prove it. The Public Enemy rapper proclaimed his admiration for the glorified pop star while he was on the red carpet of the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

He showed up to the show rocking a jungle green hat and a matching bubble jacket that covered his Taylor Swift-inspired t-shirt. While he definitely wants to meet Lenny Kravitz, he wouldn't mind meeting the "Anti-Hero" singer either.

"I've always loved Taylor Swift's music," Flav said on the red carpet as he pointed everyone's attention to his t-shirt. "I'm here to support her. I'm here to support my girl. I want to meet her someday. I just want to shake her hand and take a picture with her. I love all of her music man."

What is your favorite song by Taylor?

For those uninitiated... and who don't know who Flavor Flav is... let me educate you...

Flavor Flav, born William Jonathan Drayton Jr. on March 16, 1959, in Roosevelt, New York, is an American rapper, hype man, and television personality. He is best known for his work with the groundbreaking hip-hop group Public Enemy and for his signature look, which includes wearing a large clock around his neck.

Public Enemy:

Flavor Flav co-founded Public Enemy in 1985 with Chuck D, who was also his college friend. The group became known for its politically charged lyrics and social activism, addressing issues such as race, poverty, and the media's portrayal of African Americans. Flavor Flav's energetic stage presence and humorous persona provided a counterbalance to the more serious messages in the group's music. He often played the role of a hype man, getting the crowd excited and engaged during performances. Public Enemy released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Yo! Bum Rush the Show" (1987), "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back" (1988), and "Fear of a Black Planet" (1990). They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.

Television Career:

Flavor Flav gained further fame as a television personality in the 2000s, starring in several reality TV shows. His first foray into reality TV was as a cast member on the third season of "The Surreal Life" in 2004. He then starred in a spinoff show called "Strange Love" (2005) with Brigitte Nielsen, which documented their romantic relationship. His most famous television appearance was in the dating show "Flavor of Love" (2006-2008), which was a parody of "The Bachelor." In this show, Flavor Flav looked for love among a group of female contestants, who competed in various challenges to win his affection.

Personal Life:

Flavor Flav has had a tumultuous personal life marked by legal issues and drug addiction. He has been arrested multiple times for various offenses, including drug possession, domestic violence, and traffic violations. He has also struggled with addiction to crack cocaine but has reportedly been in recovery for several years.

Despite these challenges, Flavor Flav remains a prominent figure in the world of hip-hop and entertainment. His contributions to music, particularly as a member of Public Enemy, have left a lasting impact on the genre and the broader cultural landscape.
